Welcome!

Well, I have had this site for probably a year and haven't done anything with it until now. To update date you on our family, as most of you know, Avery is expecting a little brother and/or sister sometime mid-January. I say "and" because you never know and it freaks Brian out to think we could have twins! hehe. My first OB appt is tomorrow, so we will find out then how many we are having and if everything is going OK so far.

Avery is doing well. She is starting to say "dada"; gives kisses; waves "Hello" and "Goodbye"; crawls like there is no tomorrow; and stands up on furniture. She is is growing up WAY to fast! She is currently in "swim" lessons. I say that with a grain of salt because they are more like float lessons. We enrolled her in ISR (Infant Swimming Resource) which teaches infants and older kids what to do if they fall into a body of water so they don't drown. As they get older, instructors teach them actually how to swim. She is doing GREAT! The instructor was impressed the second day as Avery was already floating on her own without support. She cries the entire 10 minutes, but afterwards she smiles at me and gives me a look like she is saying "How did I do Mommy?" It's SO cute! I melt every time. :)
