Starting March 7th, things have been alittle busy around here. My mom came into town to watch the girls while Brian and I went to dinner to celebrate our 6th Anniversary. (I know - crazy how time flies!) Well, Brian made reservations for our actual anniversary (Sunday, March 8th), so we just got to have a nice visit with my mom instead of leaving her with the girls. She was going to try and take off work Monday so she could stay, but wasn't able to. Instead, all of us girls went to get our hair cut - including Avery! She had her first professional hair cut and did really well. That is until Quyen, our hair dresser, tried to put her hair in pigtails. The tears started at that point. She can be such a weirdo sometimes.
Then, Monday my sister-in-law and her family came from Seattle to visit as well as my Dad's cousin being in town from Pittsburgh. Since my in-laws weren't going to be in until late, the plan was to visit with my cousins in the afternoon. Well, Avery apparently had another idea. She woke up that morning with a 101 degree fever. It was amazing since she hasn't ever had a cold/flu. This is the first. The only time she was "sick" was with Strep back in July. Poor thing - she never wants to snuggle, but she did ALL day with me. I hated to see her sick, but loved the snuggling at the same time. I guess she has a good immune system as she just had a runny nose the next day. Good thing as we had planned to go to Disney with the family Wednesday afternoon. You could tell she was MUCH better, so we went to Hollywood Studios. Avery had a blast while Kylee slept most of the time. :) We had fun. The rest of the week we pretty much spent our time at my in-laws with family. We also got to see the shuttle launch that happened. Avery and Stephen thought that was pretty cool.
Speaking of Avery and Stephen, they just LOVE each other! They had a blast emptying Grandma and Grandpa's Tupperware cabinet, having baths together, playing the piano, feeding each other, playing ball, and just lovin' each other. They were just too cute for words!!
Kylee is growing like there is no tomorrow. I weighed her on Sarah's scale, so it may not be very accurate, and she was between 11 & 12 lbs. This child is not having any problems with her food. She is cooing and smiling all the time as well. I think she talks more than her sister! She is also sleeping really well at night now. She will sleep anywhere between 5-7 hours before another feeding.
As for Avery, below are two video's I thought you would enjoy. The first is how Avery "dismounts" from anyone that puts her on their shoulders. Our gymnast in training! The second video is what Sarah calls her "I am a maniac" dance. I know she is my daughter, but she is TOO cute! I have also included a link to some pictures we have taken over the last few weeks. There were too many that I wanted to post. Enjoy and hope everyone is doing well!
