Kylee is 6 months!

***Note to readers: I wrote this a month ago, but forgot to post it!***** As with Avery, time is flying by with Kylee. I can't believe my little baby is 6 months old already! Today we had her Dr appt and she is doing well. I honestly thought she would be heavier, but she was 14 lbs 10 ozs and 26 1/4". She is so active now and loves to babble. Sometimes it's hard to tell who is talking from another room, Avery or Kylee! In her babbling today, she started to say "dada." While it wasn't because of gas, it definitely wasn't directed to Brian either. She has started to push backwards, a sign of crawling in the near future. Yesterday, we determined she can officially sit unassisted for a few seconds before she goes into the tri-pod stance. She stays there for a few moments until she sees something she wants and takes a nose dive to her belly. She just loves to be on her belly if she isn't in her Exersaucer that we borrowed from a friend. I have a feeling she is going to be hell on wheels when she becomes mobile!!

Quick update family - long time no post!

Wow, I didn't realize I hadn't been on here in awhile. Sorry about that! We have been busy around here. In mid-June, my sister-in-law and her family came to visit from Seattle. We had a blast during the week and Avery LOVES visiting with her cousin Stephen. Soon, Kylee will have a cousin around her age that she will be able to play with as well. We can wait to meet Li' Luther Hall Eusey after he makes his debut in October!! While the Eusey's were here, the non-working adults took the kids to Disney for an afternoon. It was too funny as we were being asked all day if Avery and Stephen were twins since they are so close in age. Below is a picture of them.
Then, the first week of July, the girls and I headed to MD with my dad to visit family. We had so much fun!! To be honest, I really didn't want to come home - other than Brian being here. I just love it up there. I guess all good things have to come to an end, right? Anyway, while we were up there, Avery got her first taste of true MD style crabs which she LOVED! The girls also enjoyed some close up fireworks, a hot air balloon right over my aunt's house, as well as saw tons of relatives from both sides of my family. July 4th was enjoyed by all. My dad joked that Avery lost the use of her legs as all my cousin's kids were carrying her around the entire afternoon/night. All in all, we had a wonderful trip. Avery even started to sleep in the big bed and has continued to do so since we have been home. The crib is just not for her anymore! =) Now, if she would just want to potty train, we could be doing even better! Below are some pictures from our trip. I would post more, especially of familly, but I don't want to get hate emails that they don't want to be on here! ;) Thank you to all of my family we saw and stayed with - we wish we could come visit more often!
