Kylee stood on her own today!

Today, Kylee decided to stand on her own at the library Tiny Tales program we attend each week. We were in a circle singing nursery rhymes and Kylee crawled to the center and just stood up! Below is a video Sarah got after we got home.

Kylee giving kisses...

Kylee starting to walk on her own!

Our attempts at Santa Claus

This year, we weren't sure about Avery with Santa. Our first attempt was at the Back to Nature Refuge Christmas party/fundraiser. This is where Sarah, my sister-in-law, volunteers every Tuesday. I would say the picture speaks for itself! The funny thing is they were both giving Santa "high-fives" minutes before they sat in his lap. So, today was take 2 & 3. My mother-in-law found these outfits that match their Bengal cat perfectly. So, needless to say, she was determined to get the girls with Renegade (the cat) at the local PetsMart. We didn't do the lap and we had been prepping Avery all week that she needed to help "GaGa" with keeping Renegade on Santa's lap. Again, the picture speaks for itself. Funny as Kylee wouldn't even look Santa in the eye!
Then off to the mall for Take 3. I have to say, I always have good luck with this particular mall and their Photo opts. While I don't have a picture of either of them smiling - they aren't crying and will sit on the lap! Take 3 - I'll take it! Merry Christmas everyone!

Thanksgiving weekend

So, I know I am way behind on my posts but I know I will probably never get to what I want to do. So, here are some picture from Thanksgiving. First picture is from Avery's Gymboree Art class the day before. Thursday, we went to Jacksonville for Brian's Mom's family reunion. Brian was finally getting over the Shingles, so we didn't do much else for the weekend other than hang out with other family that was in town. . Avery decide to help Aunt Sarah and I put up the tree again this year. Then Kylee decided to chime in. Both are wearing their PJ's that Nana bought them. So CUTE! We were tired the night we put up the tree, so we did the ornaments another time. Here is Avery putting up the first one with Kylee "helping" me put up the next. Kylee seems so old that we forget this is her first Christmas!
